Technical Support
There are three steps you should take to resolve technical problems.
- The first step in problem-solving is to Validate your page. Many times this will help you resolve the issue. Modern versions of Dreamweaver can Validate for you or arguably even better is to use the w3c validation service Fix any problems that turn up on validation, and then give our script another try.
- If the problem persists, be sure to look at the How-To and FAQ page for that specific product. Start here on the Products page. There is a lot of help there and you'll frequently get a quick solution to your problem..
- If you are still stumped, you'll want to submit a Support Ticket, below. We are always happy to assist you.

If you feel that it might help to send us a picture of the problem as it appears on your screen, here are some simple instructions for grabbing a screenshot.
Windows users:
- Press ALT+PrintScreen to place a snapshot of the current window on the clipboard. (Press PrintScreen without the Alt key to capture the entire screen.)
- Open the Microsoft Paint program (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint) and press CTRL+V to paste the image.
- Select the part of the image that you would like to send.
- Pick Copy To... from the Edit menu, change the Save as Type to Graphics Interchange Format (*.gif).
Mac OSX users capture a rectangular portion of the screen by
- Press Shift-Command-4.
- Drag the tiny + icon diagonally across the region you which to capture.
- When you release the mouse, you will hear a camera shutter as the image is saved.
- Look on the desktop for a file named Picture 1 (or 2, 3 etc) .png

Open a support ticket
When you open a Support Ticket, you might want to include the following information:
- a description of the problem,
- mention the specific version of the product,
- your operating system,
- the browser(s) used, etc.,
- upload a screenshot that illustrates the problem.
